About Strong Homes Ministry
Why Strong Homes Ministry Exists
Strong Homes Ministry was established out of a simple conviction:
strong marriages are built intentionally, and strong homes matter deeply to God.
Many men desire to love their wives well and lead their homes faithfully, yet feel ill-equipped, uncertain, or unsure where to turn for practical help. Others find themselves under strain in marriage and want support before patterns harden into crisis.
Strong Homes Ministry exists to walk alongside men who are willing to learn, reflect, and grow — for the sake of their marriages, families, and faith communities.
Our Approach
Strong Homes Ministry offers structured men’s marriage groups and mentoring that are:
Scripture-rooted
Practical and reflective
Respectful and confidential
Grounded in responsibility, humility, and growth
The teaching framework draws on the Adam Loves Eve material and related biblical principles, helping men better understand the dynamics of marriage, communication, emotional responsibility, and faith lived out in the home.
The emphasis is not on blame or fixing others, but on personal responsibility, growth, and faithfulness.
About the Facilitators
Strong Homes Ministry is facilitated by a group of Christian husbands and fathers who have had the privilege of leading and participating in multiple men’s groups through marriage-focused material within a faith context.
Through facilitating groups, listening to men’s experiences, and walking alongside them in discussion and reflection, a consistent need has become clear:
men benefit from safe, structured spaces where marriage can be spoken about honestly, thoughtfully, and with Biblical grounding.
Strong Homes Ministry was formed to provide such a space — in partnership with local churches and in respect of pastoral oversight.
What This Ministry Is — and Is Not
Strong Homes Ministry is:
A men’s marriage course and mentoring ministry
A supportive, confidential environment for growth
A complement to local church discipleship and pastoral care
Strong Homes Ministry is not:
Professional counselling or therapy
Crisis or emergency intervention
A replacement for pastoral care or professional services
Where situations involve safety concerns, domestic violence, or mental health emergencies, appropriate professional and emergency services must be engaged.
Clear boundaries are essential for care and integrity.
Our Values
Strong Homes Ministry is guided by the following commitments:
Faithfulness — honouring God’s design for marriage and home
Responsibility — encouraging men to take ownership of their growth
Humility — learning, listening, and being willing to change
Confidentiality — creating trust and safety
Partnership — working alongside churches, not independently of them
A Word to Men
If you are a man who:
wants to strengthen your marriage
senses there is room to grow
values faith lived out at home
you are not alone.
Strong Homes Ministry is not about having everything sorted — it is about being willing to begin.
A Word to Churches
Strong Homes Ministry exists to support the work of local churches, not replace it. We value transparency, alignment, and pastoral wisdom, and only partner where invited.
We are grateful for the trust churches place in this work and seek to steward that trust carefully.
